Joshua Joel Ortiz is an award-winning filmmaker who has directed and produced content for international brands like The NBA, Chef’s Warehouse, Booking.com and more. Ortiz’s short film Listen was awarded Most Unique Short Film in Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's HBO TV Show Project Greenlight. His film Wake Up was chosen as 1 of the 12 best international short films to screen at the 2016 Festival De Cannes. In 2018, he completed a 3,500-mile drive across America to direct a documentary series called the Drive For Men's Health. In 2020, Ortiz married film composer Valeri Ortiz. As of 2022, Ortiz’s full-time job is creating content for NBC Universal while directing A Day in Five in his free time.
