Joshua Joel Ortiz is an award-winning Filipino-American filmmaker who has directed and produced content for international brands like Rotten Tomatoes, The NBA, NBC Universal, Booking.com and over 100 small businesses. Ortiz’s short film Listen was awarded Most Unique Short Film in Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's HBO TV Show Project Greenlight. His film Wake Up was chosen as 1 of the 12 best international short films to screen at the 2016 Festival De Cannes. In 2018, he completed a 3,500-mile drive across America to direct a documentary series called the Drive For Men's Health. In 2020, Ortiz married film composer Valeri Ortiz. Two days after their wedding, he panicked because the world stopped. In 2022, they moved to Los Angeles and now call it home.
