Josh Ortiz is a Filipino-American filmmaker who has shot, filmed and edited marketing projects for Netflix, HBO, Universal Pictures, AGBO and the Russo Brothers, Rotten Tomatoes, Ryan Reynold’s Group Effort initiative, Universal Studios Hollywood and more. His professional career began in 2015 on the HBO TV show “Project Greenlight,” where industry veterans like Ben Affleck and Matt Damon awarded Josh “Most Unique Short Film” for his film Listen. He recently worked as the in-house filmmaker for NBCUniversal, where he directed and edited content for properties like Super Nintendo World, Universal Studios Hollywood and Dreamworks. He and his wife Valeri Ortiz, a composer, live in Los Angeles.
